Here are a few more things you should know about Moville
and Polruan:
- Bedlinen, duvets and towels are provided.
- Moville has off street parking for two cars
- Dogs are welcome, but we ask that you do not let them upstairs or
on the sofas etc.
- Being on the headland, there’s only one road in and out of Polruan.
This means it’s very tranquil and unspoilt. So if you’re
after a seaside resort with nightlife on your doorstep, you’ll
be disappointed.
- The streets down to the harbour are very steep. This means the morning
walk to the newsagent can be a shock to the system and you’ll
also suffer the humiliation of elderly residents overtaking you as you
walk home. On the other hand it makes you feel less guilty about amount
of fresh fish, saffron buns and clotted cream you’re eating.
- Moville house is divided. The major part facing the river is let out,
while the remainder at the back is used occasionally by the owners.
